Preparation – Bed head to smoothness
The first thing you will need to do is prepare their hair, now we all know that this can be the most frustrating part for both the child and the person doing their hair.

1. Section the hair into 4 and detangle

3. Detangle using your hands and a wide-tooth comb.

Hairstyle 1 – The Split Twist
1. Section off the lower back section of the hair
Hairstyle 2 – The Split Twist Buns
Hairstyle 3 – The Braided Double Bun
1. Braid the lower back half of the hair.
2. Create 2 braids coming forward above the ears on either side.
3. Create 2 sections on the top half
Hairstyle 4 – The Braided Single Bun
1. Braid the lower back half of the hair.
2. Create 2 braids coming forward at the front of the head in the middle
3. Create 1 section on the top half
4. Tuck in to make a neat bun hairstyle. ( You could also create a braided bun)
Hairstyle 5 – Flat Twists Half and Half
1. Flat Twist the lower back half of the hair.
2. Create 2 flat twists going sideways at the front of the head in the middle

4. Split into smaller sections and twist.

- Divide the hair into two halves
- Divide each half into 6 sections from front to back
- Secure each section with a hair safe rubber band.
